NHP Enhances Order Confirmation Process for Greater Customer Transparency

Effective from Monday, May 26, 2025, NHP will roll out an enhanced automated Order Confirmation email to all customers, marking a key milestone in our ongoing efforts to modernise communication and provide total visibility into order activity to our customers and stakeholders.
What’s changing?
Previously, NHP’s order confirmations were sent to a single, centralised email address nominated for each customer account. While this remains in place, we’re enhancing the process in two key ways:
1. More detailed confirmations
Order confirmation emails will now include:
- A breakdown of all items ordered
- The status of each line item (confirmed, backordered, etc.)
- Estimated dispatch dates
- The warehouse location for each shipment
- Full pricing and GST breakdowns
2. Wider visibility
In addition to the centralised account email, confirmations can also be sent to the customer contact who placed the order. This ensures the individual requesting the goods is kept informed, reducing back-and-forth and enabling faster project planning.
Why are we making this change?
We’ve listened to feedback from our customers and internal teams, who expressed a need for clearer, more transparent updates, especially when working on tight project timelines. By providing up-to-date order information to the right people, we’re helping our customers:
- Reduce time spent chasing order details
- Improve planning and communication with their teams
- Make faster decisions based on real-time information
What do customers need to do?
All updated confirmations will now be sent from our new sender email address. To avoid missing important updates, we recommend customers add the following to their trusted contacts list:
OrderNotifications@nhp.com.au - New email for all Australian accounts
OrderNotifications@nhp-nz.com - New email for all New Zealand accounts
What’s next?
This enhancement is the first step in a broader upgrade to how we communicate order information. We’re also preparing to launch a new Automated Backorder Update feature—an opt-in service that will provide regular updates on all open order lines, including delivery timelines and tracking, sent daily, weekly, or monthly based on customer preference.
