NHP is now excited to introduce a new onsite Standard Drive Commissioning and Start Up Service for Allen-Bradley PowerFlex variable speed drives. Benefits of this new service include:
■ Extended warranty - upon completion of the drive start-up process the manufacturer’s drive(s) warranty will be extended for 12 months from start-up date
■ Optimal performance - configuring, commissioning and deployment of hardware and software
■ Validate operation - NHP Service Technicians can validate that the necessary electrical, mechanical and environmental criteria have been met to ensure proper equipment operation
■ Provide documentation - NHP will provide documented evidence that the system functions in the manner specified by the manufacturer, improving reliability.
Your drive start-up will include:
■ Physical inspection and verification of proper drive and motor installation practices prior to the application of power
■ Verification that external control wiring is properly terminated at the drive input and output connection points
■ Confirmation of drive cabling to motor, line feed and isolation transformer (if applicable)
■ Inspection of all power and control components to verify correct operation
■ Inspection of all vents, fans and current transformers
■ Operation of drive through its speed range to verify correct performance.
What to expect:
■ Kick-off meeting and site preparation - NHP will conduct a kick-off meeting prior to attending the site and verify that you have completed and returned a VSD pre-startup checklist
■ On-site drive start-up - upon completion and verification of a completed pre-startup checklist, NHP will perform the start-up of this equipment and provide documented evidence that the system functions in the manner specified by the manufacturer
■ Extended part warranty - upon completion of the drive start-up process, the manufacturer’s drive(s) warranty will be extended for 12 months from start-up date (warranty is not to exceed 30 months from date of manufacture).
