Remote Transfer Switches
Remotely operated switches allow the transfer from one power source to another (transformer/transformer, transformer/gen set etc.) to ensure the availability of electrical power downstream of the device. With no integrated logic, remote transfer switches are designed to be operated via an electrical signal, volt-free contacts, or other external control (e.g. Socomec transfer switch controllers), providing a more flexible option for applications where transfer a switch is required to be predominantly operated by site control networks (BMS) rather than automatically.
Product Range
Socomec ATyS M Remote Transfer Switch
The ATyS M range of compact motorised changeover switches include single-phase and three-phase models from 40 to 160A. Solenoid operation ensures fast switching, mechanical and electrical interlocking ensures safe operation. Volt-free contact allows switching from I, O, II via control logic. Dual power supply provides full security of the 3 position commands with the availability of either supply.
Socomec ATyS Remote Transfer Switches
ATyS r switches are remotely operated, enabling transfer between I, O, II positions via volt-free contacts from either an external controller, using pulse logic or a switch. Available from 125 to 3200A, they are built to AS/NZS 60947.6.1 and feature on-load transfer capability for mains-mains and mains-genset applications. An external controller is required for mains-genset applications.
